How Does NordicTrack Fit Into The Top Fitness Trends Of 2019

Recently, the American College of Sports Medicine published a worldwide survey of top fitness trends for 2019, showing exactly what types of fitness practices have risen in popularity. As we reviewed the results, it became apparent that NordicTrack has already taken steps to implement these fitness trends.

While there are twenty trends covered by the survey, we have highlighted four of these trends to help you see if NordicTrack has what you need in order to reach your health and fitness goals.

Wearable Technology Pairing With NordicTrack Machines

One of the top trends which has been rapidly rising in popularity is wearable fitness technology. This tech has allowed people to have a view of their physical activity and helped them make important lifestyle changes.

NordicTrack has iFit®, which can be accessed on almost all NordicTrack equipment – providing guidance on activity, nutrition, and sleep tracking, as well as providing many workout programs for members.

Wearable technology – NordicTrack

Also, when it comes to wearable technology, many NordicTrack treadmills come with a Bluetooth® heart rate monitoring chest strap, providing you with information on your current heart rate. This information is especially helpful if you are engaging in heart rate zone training.

Please note, heart rate monitors used for exercise such as the wireless heart rate monitoring chest strap are not medical devices, and their accuracy may be affected by a number of factors. They are also not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Engage With World-Renowned Personal Trainers

Hiring a personal trainer can be expensive, but when you use iFit®, you’re able to exercise with top tier personal trainers, which has become a growing trend among those seeking greater fitness.

Even better, many of NordicTrack’s exercise equipment include a one-year membership to iFit®, saving you money while helping you reach your goals. These personal trainers can virtually take you around the world, help you through runs, kickboxing sessions, meditative yoga routines, and more.

Enjoy Group Training Through iFit®

More people are finding that the positive energy of working out with others is incredibly motivating, which can also be experienced through iFit®.

With a subscription to iFit®, there are multiple studio workouts available for all levels, allowing you to sweat it out with others who are working out just as hard as you with a personal trainer guiding you through a targeted workout.

Why not join in with the iFit® community and chat with others in the community about the things you liked most about the workout you just accomplished. Also, participate in workout challenges and races as well as designing your own challenges for iFit® community members to try.

Pack In HIIT Workouts With NordicTrack Exercise Equipment

Another thing the American College of Sports Medicine survey noted was that more people engaged in HIIT workouts, as they were able to fit in short bursts of high-intensity with short rest periods – a satisfying workout in less time.

You can engage in HIIT workouts on NordicTrack exercise equipment, from our treadmills to our exercise bikes. Also, if HIIT exercises are your main focus, you may want to check out the Fusion CST, as this unique machine helps you target different zones on your body or you can choose well-rounded, calorie-burning workouts to help with your overall fitness.

If you are looking to find the most effective route to reach your health and fitness goals in 2019, make NordicTrack part of your journey.
