My cousin owns this machine and has used it daily since last Nov 08. He recently noticed a frayed area on the cable and wanted to replace it. He ordered the cable to have onsite so a tech would have it once he requested warranty repair. A tech eventually came but had no documentation and the online doc offered no specific help to replace the cable. The tech left shortly afterwards and did not return calls. My cousin called me out of desperation, asking if I could complete the repair. Fortunately, I was able to restring the machine. He was greatly relieved. I say all this to owners: Take a few minutes to look at the cable as it is run from the arm to the pullies on the floor. Just be familiar so you may be able to replace it or assist another, if need be. My cousin loves his unit and is glad it is working again.
