Elite 7500 Treadmill

From all outward appearances the Elite 7500 seems to be very high quality and a real plus for the home gym. As I have the unfortunate experience to learn, appearances can certainly be deceiving. From day one, the incline function on the machin would rise to the highest elevation and remain stuck there. After replacing the console, the control board and finally, the incline motor, the problem seems to be corrected (I will believe it when several weeks pass without the machine having the same problem again). The problems are not totally over as now, for some unknown reason, the speed display fluctuates wildly when the treadmill is in use. I place the machine on 7 mph for example, and the readout ranges from 4.8 - 5.5 mph but at least the actual speed of the belt does not change. This is the latest in a long series of problem that has plagued my machine, costing me months of wasted time off of the workout regimen I had hoped to build around the treadmill. A tremendous waste of time and a source of real aggravation. To ICON's credit, the customer service staff have been very professional and helpful, as have the service personnel who feel right at home at my house as a result of their many visits. I hope we can sort out this latest problem soon. Very disappointing.
