I watched part of the DVD and then did my own 20 minute step exercise because I like to watch TV programs or a movie when I exercise. It would have been nice to have a basic manuel in addition to the DVD about workout options and the product features. I don't want to have to write notes about what is said on the DVD. When I took it out of the box and removed the DVD, I popped the frame on one end and had a piece that holds the step levels come off. I was able to figure out how to get it back together, but some instructions would have been nice. A manuel and/or an instruction book on line that we could download would be nice. The DVD works on my Mac. Don't know yet if it has different features on my DVD player.
