I purchased a used model in 1998 and started training for a 10k race. I was overweight and totally out of shape. Within 6 months I was feeling better and gaining confidence. I added a jogging routine and within 4 months I was ready to try to compete. Not against the field, but against mother nature and father time. At age 53 I was able to finish the race in 59 min/29 sec ... thank you NordicTrack! Since then my age and several accidents have kept me from any regular exercise plan, until now. Unfortunately, I broke the cardio/calorie electronic display ... that's really the key to success on this or any other machine. I can't seem to find a repair or replacement source. Sure wish someone could help?
