I don't have room for any equipment of size in my apartment so I looked for some thing small. This mini stepper really has worked out perfectedly for me. It is very solidly built, smooth action and has two rubber resistance cords that really add to your workout. I want to get a light workout and stay toned-this has worked out great.Bought mine at Sears for significantly less than priced on this web site($45). Only gripe I had was the instructions are completely worthless in helping to get the stepper going. Just have to play with the adjustment dial under the machine until you get it at the height of step comfortable for you. The workout counter I haven't used because I cannot see that far but I don't think it makes any difference, I just workout for a set time anyway.
