I bought this for my grandpa who weighs over 300 lbs. He had a different bike that he used faithfully every morning for 20 minutes while he watched the news. After about 4 years the seat on his old bike broke off. I'm sure it was made for someone who weighed less. He's not really trying to lose weight because he likes to eat. he just uses it to get some cardio in every day. about every other day he calls me to tell me how much he likes his new bike and that it's the best he's ever had. he says the seat is more comforatble and it's easier on his knees and the motion seems more precise and smooth. He also likes that the console lifts up so he can get in and out easier.I tried it last time I was there and I was impressed as well.
