The Viewpoint 3200 doesn't seem as heavy as the machines I used to use at the gym but I think it will hold up over time just fine. It is much nicer working out at home for me. I figure it saves me 30 minutes a day to avoid going to the gym. The cushioning is also softer on this treadmill than the gym machines when I set it to the softest setting. at the hard settings it's still softer than the road but you can definately feel the difference compared to the softest setting. I wouldn't mind having a bigger TV but from 18 inches away the picture is pretty good. No problems with it yet and the motor has enough power to not get bogged down when I walk or run. I think it's running at a little higher RPM that the Gym treads but those were probably 5 HP
