The 7.5 doesn't have a lot more of bells and whistles than less expensive machines but I think it feels extremely strong. Everything about it says quality to me from the big rollers that look like they were machined on a lathe to the extra wide belt. The fan is nice to. I bet it could run 24 hours a day and not overheat with a 300 lb. person walking on it. I've heard walking is harder on a motor than running because the RPM's are lower and it takes more torque. the 7.5 has plenty of torque to go as fast or slow as I want without any problems.
