Comments: I was apprehensive as usual for a purhase of this type. Also, the deliverer left it with the arrow for 'this side up' pointing down. Not a good start after the nice sale price. I got it unpacked and assembled very carefully and slowly by myself in 5 hours. It turned out the toughest thing alone was getting one of the console plugs connected with one hand This is a great price for a 12 MPH treadmill. The EKG grips reading are not great as usually is the case at the gym tmills. They cause the fitness age to fluctuate. I was 58 the first time and 40 a few days later. The EKG so far fluctuates up to 80 bpm in 20 seconds. A chest device is probably best, as the instructions state. The main thing is the running and the whole machine performed beautifully, quiet, stable, and nice surface feel at my usual pace of 8 MPH. All my concerns went away. It feels better than a lot of gym treadmills. I got up to 12 MPH and the machine started to wobble from corner to corner. This could just be a little adjustment with the floor. The only real negative is the belt felt a bit slippery a few times at 8.7 MPH after about 5 miles because of some sweat hitting it in a certain location near my left foot. My right foot never felt like it was slipping. Even so I increased to 9, 10, 11, and 12 MPH and did not slip or fall off, so I'll be monitoring how it goes for any speed work of over 45 minutes.
