Comments: I'll be surprised if this review is posted since the place I bought mine from declined to post my review. the assembly of this machine took about a half a day and a reservior of patience. Some screws won't go in and parts like the wong arm may not fit securely or at all. Still, I got the thing put together. The display offers you everything you could need except an automatic towel wipe during the workout. Unfortunately, for all its niftiness, you will never be certain about your distance travelled, at least not in any common sense way. Nordic tell you that 300 revolutions equals a mile according to their engineers. Ha ha ha ha! No way. Other audiostrider owners, and their mathmetician friends, have posted geometrical formulas for calculating a mile, which by the way appears to be a few revolutions over 1000. So, is it 300 or 1000 revolutions? That's a huge window of possibilities. The odometer reading... also very useless. No one has figured out what this has to do with anything. The trip meter reads "some #" X 100. Okaaaay... and... Now in terms of the actual performance of the machine, I give it a thumbs up! It is an awesome workout, but if you plan to follow a workout plan and record calculations, do be too sure that what you see is what you get.
Workouts are even better with the all new AudioStrider 990 elliptical that features a new 18" to 20" stride length. The stride adjusts from 18" to 20" as you increase the incline up to 30% so you get even more muscle recruitment in each motion. Our legendary smooth motion is still intact as well as all of the features that made the last AudioStrider 990 our most popular elliptical. Experience what thousands of NordicTrack customers have already discovered with the AudioStrider 990.
