Comments: I purchased this model at the sale price which I noticed they seem to have often. So far I am very pleased with this machine but it does have a few faults. The Dual-Grip EKG Heart Rate Monitor is about useless as it doesn t seem accurate enough to rely on. The Coolaire Workout fan is okay for taller people but for someone at 5 3 like me the air only hits my face at the upper stride. And this is with the fan aimed downwards. The adjustable stride was a little more difficult to adjust than anticipated but it works. Though compact this unit still requires a bit of room and clearance for when it is in use (the strides extend beyond the unit itself so keep that in mind when figuring your space requirements). The Silent Magnetic Resistance does work precisely as advertised. The speakers quality are not impressive but adequate enough for my MP3 player. Please note the volume is controlled through your CD or MP3 player not on the elliptical itself. Assembly was pretty easy. It took my husband and I approx 1 hour. When I first got on the elliptical I noticed there was a clunking sound coming with each stride. However I found we had neglected to fully tighten a loose bolt. Once the bolt was tightened the machine was perfectly quiet, extremely smooth, and easy to use. One workout and I was sold. Bottom line is all the added bonus features (heart monitor, fan, speakers, etc.) you may find lacking. But for what really matters this is a great machine with the similar and sturdy feel as those elliptical used in fitness gyms.
