Comments: I used the Audiostrider 990 Pro for 60 days for no less than 30 minutes daily. It's a solid elliptical that gets the job done. By changing my eating habits and exercising daily I have gone from 193 lbs to 165 lbs in the last 90 days. I am happy with the results of using my 990 Pro. With that said I returned the 990 Pro today and exchanged it for the NordicTrack Pathfinder. I was happy with the variety of workouts the 990 Pro offers. There trully is a workout for everyone right out of the box. The machine feels much better than the 990 it replaced. The flywheel is noticably heavier which offers a much smoother ride than the previous model. The range of motion also feels just right. The 18" to 20" stride isn't exactly adjustable though. The stride changes with the incline. At 30 degrees you get the full 20" and at 10 degrees you are at 18". What I didn't like was the round cushions of the steps. While they may help cushion your feet, they also reduce your tractions which causes your feet to constantly slide forward. While constantly changing the placement of your feet sounds annoying at first, it's not as bad as the feel of your toes being crunched up constantly. The steps on the Pathfinder are flat ans sticky. These steps need to be on the 990 Pro. If you read other reviews you will have seen the complaints about the fan. It's very loud and very ineffective since it only blows towards your waistline. The handgrips are another area I wasn't happy with. You will perspire while using this machine. The smoothe finish of the handles prevent your hands from being firmly in place. They are constantly sliding down towards the bottom of the handle. You can wear gloves to prevent this, but then you lose the heartrate monitor. The monitor itself isn't very accurate and refreshes very slowly which can be frustrating at times. Overall this is a very solid elliptical, but a few changes would definately make it better. The hand grips and steps from the Pathfinder would be a big help. An adjustable fan that is mounted h
