Comments: If you have limited space, as we do, this is a great piece of equipment. After a year of use, we find it extremely smooth and quiet, sufficiently challenging, and it appears to be well built. However, the available adjustments are insufficient for us. I am tall with long arms; my wife is short, with short arms. Finding "just right" settings for comfortable workouts just wasn't working, especially for me. Through trial and error, I finally arrived at a combination that worked by putting a 2X4 under the front supports. I would recommend the following: 1)make the front supports more height adjustable 2)add optional positions--even permanent ones--to the foot pads to allow them to be moved forward or aft on their support (stride adjustment does not do this; my feet are always at the most forward position on the pad and I need another inch) and 3)make the outside arms a tad longer. Tall people could use another two inches. I am considering making these mods myself, but don't want to void the warranty. Hope somebody from NordicTrack reads this. Some very small mods would make this elliptical a real winner. Thanks for considering.
