Comments: This is my first in home treadmill. However, I use a commercial machine, made by another company, at my local health club and this machine ranks right up there with it! The Pros: The deck on the 1750 C is a nice size and compares to what I am use to (at the health club). As of now I could report that the machine runs very well and is very solid (no belt slipping or machine movement when in use for the first few hours). I read some reviews that complained about the difficulty in assembling model 1750, but I believe that is the old version. Assembly of this machine was fairly easy and done in less then two hours (I did most of it myself, but used a helper to install the console and the storage latch). Great variety of on board workout features (none iFit related). Built in speakers are a great add on. Built in fans are great..but (see Cons). WiFi enabled works flawlessly. This unit folds up nicely and is easy to move. The Cons: The 7 inch screen doesn't adjust at all which is a draw back for users who are not tall (my daughter has a hard time seeing it clearly). The fan grill rattles when using the fans even at the lowest speed. In order to use all of the iFit features you must join iFit and pay a fee. The iFit SD cards do not work with this unit. Side notes not pros or cons: Delivery took nearly two weeks after I purchased the machine from NordicTrack and this unit is delivered in a BIG box so be prepared for that. You will need at least two people and a hand cart (dolly) to move the box if you get front door delivery. I unpacked this unit in my living room and managed to move it, very gently with another person, to my basement before assembly. I have a low basement ceiling (approximately 81 inches). This unit reduces that by about 10 inches without any incline. I was aware of this when I purchased the unit, but I am only 5' 7" so I am still good even at max incline. I purchased a 36 by 78 inch rubber treadmill mat which does the job, but it took a few minutes to get the machine to fit on the mat evenly. I like the mat like this because there is very little of the unused mat exposed. Overall the cons have to do with very minor issues or features on the machine. I personally could do without the iFit, but my daughter likes it and we are going to try it for a year. I like the display a lot, but I wish it was larger and tilt adjustable (it is nicer to watch an actual screen then just blips of light). You could also watch you tube, check your social media accounts and connect to the Internet and those are nice features. I bought this machine on sale and feel good with the price point I paid and the quality of this unit.
A consumer favorite, the Commercial 1750 brings together expert engineering, innovative design and all the best features on one impressive treadmill. It starts with innovative cushioning that can fully absorb the impact of every step, or lock out dampeners for a firm, stable running surface that more closely resembles the feel of running on the road. Incline and decline training prep you for any event, while a web-enabled color touchscreen partners beautifully with iFit® technology to deliver customized training through Google Maps™ routes.
