Comments: I had a NordicTrack C2420 for eight years which I used almost daily without a hiccup, so I was spoiled. While this machine is a worthy successor, I guess I expected more improvements over the intervening years. Certainly the cushioning system is good, but I miss the adjustable capability which my previous treadmill had. I seems as though this cushioning system is designed for a 250 pound person, consequently I find it too stiff for my 175 pound frame. On the plus side, the machine is well built and solid. The assembly was relatively easy and it took me about an hour -with no help. Two other minor annoyances: The safety switch is very cheaply made; since this is something you touch everytime you use the machine, it tends to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Second, when you place the incline at a high level you are well above the side handles, leaving you with a feeling of walking a tightrope. I got used to it afterwhile, but in this super-safe age, I would expect the design to account for this. Overall a good machine, but not as good as I had expected or hoped- given my previous experience with NordicTrack.
