Comments: This is a long overdue review. I originally purchased this elliptical in June/2006. I own the Nordic Track treadmill, but after a bruised knee at the gym I couldn't run any longer without pain in my knee. I was told that an elliptical would be my best option to continue working out without putting much pressure on my knee. It felt great to continue working out and not have knee pain! It's got several different workout programs built in. It has helped tone my legs, butt, and arms. It is a very long machine while fully extended for workout purposes, but it folds in half for easy storage. This machine is heavy and the two wheels in the front do help to push it around for easy storage when not in use. After the first three years I had to replace the small wheels in the peddles-these help it glide, but that cost wasn't so bad I think it cost me $60.00 for the parts and my husband installed them. Not bad for using this machine an hour a day for five days a week. They are starting to clank again so its about time to replace them once again. I use my own heart rate monitor so I don't use the one build into the machine. You can also customize your own programs as well.
