I Have Used Them All and This is the Best
By Indoorskier (Washington, DC) on Apr 11, 2009
I bought my first one in 1987 and have used one or another model ever since, at least several times a week. The unique skiing motion strengthens the core, curing a lower back problem I had, and for getting a high intensity aerobic workout in half an hour without stressing the joints, nothing else c... Great exercise to help bad knees
By Peter (Washington DC) on Apr 26, 2009
I'm a 41 year old Marine with bad knees and I think this is a great compliment to other forms of exercise such as biking and swimming, and modern ellipticals. I wish there was one of these in my gym. I have two at home.

By happyface (Iowa) on Apr 25, 2009
Ihave owned and used my cross country skier for about 15 years, and love it! I have not had any problems with it, and when I use it 30 minutes a day, it does keep my weight off and my body toned, without any impact on my joints!
Simply Built, Good Customer Care
By Richard (San Diego, CA) on Apr 27, 2009
The Classic Pro is a great workout. I like the way it is simply built, meaning that I will be able to order parts and make repairs myself as the machine ages. The drive rollers make a lot of noise. I have had each one replaced. One stayed quiet, but the other over a short time has become just as noi... (Read more)

I Love this machine... I had quit using it for a while after a herniated disk in my back had bulged (not from working out), and am back to using it again. It is awesome and is highly recommended to ANYONE that would rather work out at home instead of going to the gym. I didn't have to lube it or an... (Read more)

By runnlift (Kentucky) on Jun 22, 2009
I am a YMCA fitness director, but do my personal workout at home. No other piece of cardio equipment - and I am exposed to every piece of equipment going and coming - beats my machine. I've had it since the early 1990s. I have recently been restricted from running due to knee and back issues, but... (Read more)

20 Years Daily and It's Still Great!
By ccskier (Saint George, Utah) on Sep 19, 2009
After using my "skier" for 20 minutes daily (at least 5 days a week), for 20 years, it is still in good condition, costs nothing but my energy, and is attractive and comfortable. It is actually like cross country skiing. I can also read while keeping fit at 68 years old.
Best workout ever!

I've had my Skier for 12 years. I run, row, and swim. The Skier, however, is the best exercise equipment I've ever used. Glad to see they still make them!

By Gabby (Hanover Township, PA 18706) on Oct 10, 2009
Oh, yes! I have counted calories since 8th grade and when my chronic pain therpaist
asked me my machine of choice, I said,
without hesitation, "My NORDIC TRACK skier!"
He agreed whole heartedly and told me how
much he loved his Nordic Track Skier. He told
me that I had better watch the weight... (Read more)
