No better workout without impact
By Skier fan (Gaithersburg,MD) on Apr 11, 2012
Bought 15 year old used skier and has only needed normal replacement parts. The workout is intense and with no impact. Heart rate equals running or biking There is no reason this machine won't last another 15 years. The value can't be beat!
The BEST workout

I have been using the pro Skier daily at least 15 miles. This is at one time for about 70 minutes. I have done 21 miles when I had the time amd I highly recommend it to everyone I talk to. At 67 years of age I have lost over 50 lks and now can easily wear size 34 pants. I feel great and everyone ... (Read more)

By KarenfromElk (Elk, WA) on Jan 9, 2013
Have just had a few problems with noisy/squeaky rollers, but when it gets noisy we just oil it a little. I know Nordic Track says not to do this, but it worked for us and have had no other problems! Great machine and if you stick to it, 20 min. 3 times a week or more helps lose weight and helps you g... (Read more)
21 years and counting

I have had my NordicTrack skier for 21 years. When my husband and I married 22 years ago, I weighed 132 pounds. After three kids (including full-term twins) I still weigh 132 pounds. Of course I eat right and enjoy a neighborhood walk with friends, but I attribute my weight maintenance to my daily 2... (Read more)

This machine has provided me opportunity to enjoy a great workout and enhance my health for the past 22 years. I have used it regularly from age 31 to 53. I blew out the rear roller wheels after the first 5 years and they were immediately replaced with one quick phone call. Easy to maintain with ... (Read more)
30 years and still going
By Classic2 (Port Tobacco, MD) on Aug 14, 2012
I'm 73. I've had my Nordic Track Pro for about 30 years. I use it 4-6 times a week for 40 minutes. The pad is a bit worn, the pull cords have been replaced a number of times, and there are spots of corrosion here and there from sweat. I keep it at the highest elevation and the tension set at 9. It i... (Read more)

I have had mine for over 15 years. I have the original one. Not adjustable, so I have some boards under the front legss to adjust.
I didn't know I could still buy one. I will be buying the Pro.

Still the best overall aerobic workout. period
By gray ghost (blairsville, georgia) on Sep 9, 2012
Nordic Track is still the best overall aerobic workout i have found. nothing electrical. it does not run on batteries. you supply the calories, it supplies the sweat. I cannot speak about the durability of the skier: nothing has ever gone wrong with mine. for any who want to work their abdominal... (Read more)

I'm a personal trainer who first used the skier when I was active duty stationed at Keesler AFB, MS. I was one of two people who used this regularly. I recently was shopping at Goodwill in Flint, MI and found this skier in mint condition for a mere $10. I am so happy. Now I have a skier and Spin... (Read more)

I have used my Nordic Track Skier for almost 20 years on a regular basis. Other than replacing batteries in the "Performance Monitor" and cleaning once every several years, it has performed flawlessly. I get a work out that beats anything else I have tried. It does not duplicate weights or intense a... (Read more)

You name it, I have worked out on it. I have a few favorites, street-walking, Nordictrack treadmill and I had one of the Nordictrack ellipticals (stairstepper) for a while. I love, love, LOVE this skier! I am 45 and have been a regular exerciser for two years, completely changing my lifestyle and ea... (Read more)

I've had my Nordic track for over 20 yrs. To this day I have had no problems with it and I am still using it. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. It is a basic piece of machinery with high end results.
I own a Nordic Track 900T
By Boyo56 (Chilliwack, BC Canada) on Nov 1, 2011
Nordic Track did stop making the ski machine. I am glad they are making them again. I own the commercial 900T. These are the ones used in the gyms. These Nordic Track ski machines are the best total body workouts ever. I hope Nordic Track brings back the commercial versions in the future.
Still great after 25 years!

I bought my NordicTrack skier in 1986; after more than 25 years it still works perfectly, and gives me a great workout. Love it!

Wonderful machine. Great cardio workout. Simple to maintain - on my third set of rollers. I'm 64 and I couldn't live without it.
Best choice in cardio!

Purchased over a year ago to help in my workouts to fight my heart disease. Have found it to be the best decision made other than a good pair of walking shoes. When the weather is not optimal for outdoor activities this is a great alternative. Does take a little bit of practice to get the hang of it... (Read more)
Fit for a lifetime

I bought my NordicTrack Classic Pro on 9/25/92 and I still have it. I wore out one set of strings and handles, but everything else is original. The simplicity and robustness of this piece make it fit for a lifetime of service, make me physically fit for a lifetime. I like that it's fairly quiet, no ... (Read more)
