I am just getting start again, after to many years. Still love it.
Still the best overall machine I've ever used!
By Howyalivin? (Atlanta, GA) on Apr 16, 2013
I purchased my machine almost 100yrs ago ...well, ok - but when they first starting advertising I believe I purchased in 1987 (it's on the machine, I'm always in awe when every start to use it every 5-6yrs and see how long I've actually had it). Well I'm in my 50's now, almost 55. I have just pulle... (Read more)
None Better !
By Cotty (Germantown,MD) on May 10, 2013
I bought my skier used and it was many years old but in great shape. Have used several years with only having to replace clutch rollers (normal wear item)The non impact workout is very intense and keeps my heart rate as high as running. Unreal! Using 20-30 minutes several times a week is all it take... (Read more)

By Rotten Rog (Sunriver, Or) on May 25, 2013
As a long time user of Nordic Track I think they are outstanding!!! This will be my second one.. I put thousands of miles on my first one!!! It literally wore out and couldn't be fixed.. I use mine 4-5 times per week, sometimes twice a day..Not bad for 70 years old.....
25 years and still going strong
By Not-a-paid-spokesperson (Havre, Montana) on Jun 5, 2013
I've had my Nordic Track Pro for over 25 years and it has undoubtedly been the best exercise equipment investment I have ever made. Although there have been some occasional dormant periods, I still use it fairly regularly (3 to 5 days per week)and the durability of the equipment has been outstanding... (Read more)
A Poor Purchasing Experience
By Ruffus (Everett,Washington) on Jun 13, 2013
I was misled by the telephone representative when I purchased the machine. I was told that it sat flat on the floor when in fact it is elevated. I am very heavy and clumsy and could easily fall off of it. He also told me my weight of 400 pounds would be not a problem when in fact the machine is rate... (Read more)
Great Machine - but slight glitch
By Troutman (Point Pleasant, NJ) on Jul 2, 2013
My husband has owned a Nordic Track Pro for eighteen + years. He uses it every day and this purchase is our third Pro Skier. The pulley mechanism when delivered was not put together properly and when my husband called the number for service he did not get much satisfaction. The person he spoke to... (Read more)
Excellent Total Body Workout
By Triathlete Mom (Chicago) on Jul 18, 2013
I am a marathon runner and triathlete, and this skier is one of my favorite cross trainers. Amazing cardio and excellent total body workout. Helps me to stay injury-free. Love it!
By Yellowwindy (San Francisco, CA) on Aug 6, 2013
I've been using my skier for about 14 years now, it's a must for both cardio and toning. In 14 years, I've had no problems with maintaining this amazing work out machine. It is so worth the money...don't hesitate to purchase it today :)
By Mocha's Mom (Lexington, NC) on Aug 7, 2013
This is my favorite workout and I love this machine. I wish they had other models! My only concern is that it gets a little squeaky with use - I am tightening as I go to remedy the issue.
Best fitness investment I've made
By NodakGuy (Jamestown, ND) on Sep 13, 2013
I purchased my Pro in late 1992 and used it vigorously for several months. After many years of being idle, I've cleaned it up and use it 5-6 mornings a week for 20 minutes. I am absolutely happy, impressed and satisfied with this machine. For the money and the workout you can get in such a short tim... (Read more)

I love my Nordictrack skier, I can not believe that its 25 years old. I was a young man at 35 years old when I purchased it, Im now 60 years old. It works if I do.
By Aging (Vancouver, Wa) on Oct 12, 2013
I traded my treadmill for one ~10 years ago. I may have gotten the better deal, both did an excellent job of maintaining a footprint in the spare bedroom. Cross-country skiing was my preferred exercise. I must have loved the comradely, scenery and open air more than the exercise as I’ve yet to dev... (Read more)

Quality Seems Less than Before
By fligster (South New Jersey) on Oct 31, 2013
Shipping of the skiier was quick, but it arrived with the strap spring missing and the tension knob broken. It took about a week to receive the replacement spring, so I couldn't even use it until this arrived. The unit seems less stable and solid than when I had one years ago. The electronics also d... I was just informed that my fathers Pro Skier has been located. It was his favorite piece of equipment. I can't wait to go pick it up. I plan on using it just like he did. Headphones on and jamming to music. I am so excited to have a piece of my father back.
Too well built, and not flashy enough
By Wild Bill (Bagram Airbase, Afghanistan) on Nov 28, 2013
The problem with the Nordic Track Skier is that it's too functional, and not pretty enough. I'm looking at a new one, but my current one (2nd) is still working great. It's a timeless engineering design that functions correctly for years. It's an exercise routine that you can do at any age. I kno... (Read more)

Still Ticking after all these years!
By capt124 (Tuckerton, NJ) on Dec 15, 2013
I have had my Nordictrack skier since 1986 and still use it. The only thing that has aged is the cord from the computer readout to the flywheel. It was coiled and it has deteriorated and is now falling apart due to old age (sort of like me LOL). This machine is amazing! I would buy one again, but... (Read more)
