I have had the classic pro for 20 years, and have used it that long. Nothing compares to this machine, no impact on your knees or ankles. Answer to 'free-roaming soul'. I love the machine too. As far as finding replacement 'glide tabs'- a visit to thrift stores will usually find these skiers (many that are beat-up), and with something like a small knife/screw driver, the glides are easily removed.

Ok...this is by far the best piece of exercise equipment on the market. You will definitely lose weight and begin seeing results almost immediately. I have been using my NT since 1991. Six to seven days per week (when I am home)for 50 minutes at 3 degrees incline. The ole NT machine provides the ultimate, at home cardio workout.

Does the use of the skier result in building muscles. Is there a video I can see related to proper use and training with the skier? Great aerobic workout and great for developing balance.
