I bought my first one in 1987 and have used one or another model ever since, at least several times a week. Ihave owned and used my cross country skier for about 15 years, and love it! I have not had any problems with it, and when I use it 30 minutes a day, it does keep my weight off and my body toned, without any impact on my joints!

Great exercise to help bad knees

I'm a 41 year old Marine with bad knees and I think this is a great compliment to other forms of exercise such as biking and swimming, and modern ellipticals. I wish there was one of these in my gym. I have two at home.

The Classic Pro is a great workout. I like the way it is simply built, meaning that I will be able to order parts and make repairs myself as the machine ages. The drive rollers make a lot of noise. This was the 1st machine I ever bought.I since bought lifefitness treadmill,ellipitical upright bike and recumbant bike. I use all of them during the week.The killer is still the NT Classic skier. I sweat more on it them the others. I am 62 and on NO pills. I wax my skiers and still have the origin... (Read more)
