iFIT Help: Updating Firmware On Your Machine

iFIT Help: Updating Firmware On Your Machine | NordicTrack Blog

UPDATED, September 1, 2021

As you continue to exercise on your iFIT® enabled NordicTrack equipment, it is important to update your firmware on your machine to make sure everything is running the way it should be. As the manufacturer makes improvements to the programs as time goes on, updates will be made available to you.

If your machine is connected to Wi-Fi™ then your updates will be done automatically. If you’re connected via Bluetooth®, you will get notification that a firmware update is available, and you can access this update by using your app.

Check For Firmware Updates

You can check for firmware updates manually. Just follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the app settings.
  2. Check for firmware updates.
  3. Select the update, if available.
  4. While your machine is updating, keep the app open and near your machine until the update finishes. Do not disconnect or disable Bluetooth® during the update.
  5. Depending on your Wi-Fi™ connection, the update may take 15–20 minutes. During that time, the screen on your equipment and tablet may go dark.

If the update happens to fail, then close the app and open the app again. Attempt the firmware update until it’s worked successfully.

Conclusion

With regular software upgrades, bug fixes, and iFIT updates, we want to make sure you have the latest and greatest features on your NordicTrack equipment. That way, you can enjoy all of its features for years to come!
